1. Who is responsible

VHVISUALS is run by Vitor Mendes, based in Denmark (CVR-nr. DK44794640). I am the data controller for personal data collected through this website. If you have any questions about your data, email contact@vhvisuals.dk or call +45 31 89 36 56.

2. What I collect

• Contact form: your name, email address and message. They are sent to my inbox so I can reply to you.

• Email and phone: if you contact me directly, I receive whatever information you choose to share.

• Analytics (only if you accept cookies): the pages you visit, roughly where you are (country/city), your device and browser type, and how you found the site. This is collected with Google Analytics.

3. Why I use it

• To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote or project, at your request (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)) or because I have a legitimate interest in replying to you (Article 6(1)(f)).

• To understand how the website is used so I can improve it, based on your consent (Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Cookies

When you first visit, a banner lets you accept or reject cookies. Your choice is saved in your browser so the banner does not keep appearing. Google Analytics cookies (_ga and _ga_…) are only set if you click Accept, and they last for up to 2 years. If you reject, no analytics cookies are stored; Google may still receive basic signals without cookies (for example that a page was viewed) that are not linked to you. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page.

5. Who I share it with

I never sell your data. I use these services to run the website and my business:

• Framer B.V. (Netherlands): hosts this website and delivers contact form messages.

• Google (Google Workspace and Google Analytics): email and website statistics. Google may process data outside the EU; such transfers are covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. How long I keep it

I keep enquiries and emails for as long as I need them to handle your request and any project that follows, normally no longer than 2 years after our last contact. Information that is part of my accounts, such as invoices, is kept for 5 years as required by the Danish Bookkeeping Act. Google Analytics data is deleted automatically after at most 14 months.

7. Your rights

You have the right to see the data I hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how I use it, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent. Just email contact@vhvisuals.dk. If you think I am handling your data incorrectly, you can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet), datatilsynet.dk.

8. Changes

If I change how I handle personal data, I will update this page and the date at the top.
